Marketing for firearms training companies
Training businesses sell seats in dated classes. That sounds simple, and it is exactly where the marketing usually breaks: the class exists, the post goes out, and the person who clicks has nowhere clean to land. I run marketing for a firearms training company now, and I wrote a full examination of one before that work started. The pattern below is what I found, and what I keep finding.
What I keep finding
- Classes promoted in posts with no dated, priced, bookable page behind them, so interest dies on a homepage.
- Booking links pointing at a homepage or a general page instead of the class calendar.
- A full schedule of courses and no content distinction between them, so every post sounds the same and none of them fill.
- Good class footage sitting unused while the same few photos carry every post.
- No way to prove a post became a booking, because the clicks are not tracked anywhere.
None of that is a posting problem. It is a destination and measurement problem, and more content poured into it just leaks faster.
It starts with the examination
Before I will sell a training company a single post, I examine five things in order: the offer (is every class dated, priced, and bookable), the destination (where every link actually lands), the audience (local buyers or a follower base full of people who will never drive to a class), the content (what has measurably worked), and the measurement (whether a booking can be traced back to a post). $297, in writing, in five business days, with the fix order spelled out.
The Range Calendar Pack, $695/mo
Once the funnel checks out, ongoing content built around the class calendar: 12 posts a month on each of Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, plus 4 YouTube Shorts, every caption written separately for its platform, first comment links handled, and a monthly report with organic numbers only. The calendar drives the content, not the other way around: upcoming classes get the weight, and nothing promotes a class that is not actually bookable.
Find out what is actually blocking your bookings.
The examination tells us both. If your funnel is clean, the pack can start. If it is not, you get the fix order in writing either way.
